At the end of our presentation, we instantly received good feedback on our storyboard and photographic storyboard which Luke Ashwood had made. Lee called this aspect of our pitch Distinction level and that every single shot was purposeful. He also expressed that he was worried about the fact that we were filming a western in a country park but after seeing the location recce that I had made, he saw that our chosen spot to film was perfect for a western setting, even in a country park due to the rocky and flat areas I assessed. Lee called the location recce really good but also identified another issue to do with the planes. He mentioned that planes produce plane lines in the sky which would stick out in the final edit so I had to think of a way to mitigate this issue, I had checked the weather for the day of filming and it forecasted cloudy skies so these plane lines would not be visible. One other con Lee identified with our presentation is that the secondary research into the genre, that Luke did, was actually a film analyses rather than an essay into the actual western genre. Luke had listened to this feedback and later added this secondary research in a new slide whilst changing the old slide into film analysis. Overall, our pitch went very well and was well received by our audience. The feedback was mostly good and we successfully fixed the problems Lee spotted in our pitch.
